Vico Energy’s advisory board is comprised of successful mining executives, all with proven experience in uranium mining, either in geology, development, financing or operation.  The advisory board compliments the like-minded management of Vico Energy, and brings their career expertise to our growth-through-acquisition strategy, as well as our development and operation of uranium mines around the world.

Curtis Clarke, BSc Mining Engineering

Mr. Clarke has over 25 years of experience in the minerals industry, including positions in mine operations, geology, and engineering at large and small mining companies. Mr. Clarke has developed business units abroad for equipment manufacturing companies and also managed global marketing and sales teams. Mr. Clarke specializes in the areas of asset management, market analysis, feasibility studies, performance improvement; project management, business development strategies and sales management.

Reinis Sipols, PEng

Mr. Sipols is a mining engineering graduate from Michigan Technological University.  He has over 20 years of operational experience in the construction materials industry with most of those managing urban mining operations.  Responsibilities included all aspects mine operations and management.  He has nearly 10 years of consulting experience beginning as Vice President of Spectra Environmental Group (a Northeastern USA integrated engineering and environmental firm) and most recently as President of Behre Dolbear & Company (USA) Inc.  Currently he is Director of Mining & Minerals Projects for The Dalmore Group LLC and is mining operations advisor for Taia LLC, a junior exploration firm active in Sierra Leone.  Mr. Sipols is a Professional Engineer in New York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey and has obtained the FINRA Series 7 and 63 certifications.

Steven Khan, MBA, CFA

Steven Khan has spent close to twenty years in all aspects of the investment industry, including retail, and later institutional sales, corporate finance, capital markets, and investment banking. He has held several senior management roles including: Executive Vice-President, President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of a number of regional and national full service Canadian investment brokerage houses that mostly focused on venture capital financings. In 2003, he started his own consulting firm that focused on business plan development and capital fund raising for a number of early stage private and public companies. In the past several years, Mr. Khan has successfully initiated, completed or partnered several major corporate development initiatives both domestically and internationally, including government partnered ventures in China and Korea. Mr. Khan was also an instrumental part of the team that negotiated Strathmore's Roca Honda Joint Venture with Sumitomo Corp of Japan in 2007. In January 2008, after serving as Executive Vice-President since 2003, Mr. Khan accepted the position of President of Strathmore Minerals Corp. A graduate of the University of British Columbia with a BSc. (1978) and MBA (1983), Mr. Khan also holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation (CFA), is a member of the CFA Institute, and for many years was a long-time Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute.

Robert Maxwell, PGeo, MBA

Geological and Behre Dolbear Senior Associate, has more than 30 years of experience in uranium mining, exploration, development, and evaluation of deposits in North America and Central Asia.  He has supervised exploration programs for uranium that resulted in discoveries.  He has supervised or participated in geologic investigations as part of due diligence studies for major property acquisitions.  Mr. Maxwell is recognized as a Competent Person qualified to author Canadian NI 43-101 Technical Reports, as required for companies listed on Canadian stock exchanges.  In the past three years, Mr. Maxwell has been project manager or geologic investigator for uranium project such as: development of language in a cooperation agreement to describe loss of uranium resources in conflict with other uranium developers in Wyoming, USA; preparation of Canadian NI 43-101 compliant report for 6 uranium projects in New Mexico, USA; valuation of the Alta Mesa Uranium mine and plant in Texas, USA; preparation of NI 43-101 compliant Technical Report on the Coles Hill Uranium project in Virginia, USA; and review of uranium prospecting permits in Tanzania.

Jody Dahrouge, PGeo

Jody Dahrouge has been instrumental in the guidance of exploration and development programs for Commerce Resource Corp (TSXV: CCE) and Fission Energy (TSXV: FSS).  Mr. Dahrouge is a graduate of the University of Alberta with a Bachelors Degree in Science (Geology).  Since 1998, he has been the President of Dahrouge Geological Consulting Ltd.
